Fish Lips

Oh, little bug!  Tonight I couldn't help but laugh with you at bedtime!  You discovered how to make fish lips right as I was trying to put you to bed.  So, I spent an hour rocking you while you make fish lips at me!  You thought you were so funny!  I wouldn't have traded one of those minutes for anything...

Thank you for reminding me everyday it's okay to slow down and just love on you!

Mason Lee is 10 months

 Oh, little bug!  What a big month it has been!  You are growing so much!  

Look how smart you are?  You even held up
all 10 fingers for your 10 month!

You re finally getting hair!  You are getting some new chompers, which means, I am getting much less sleep!  But, you know what those new chompers mean?  You are eating more and more...and, for the time being, the more includes hard cookies, crackers and little fingers foods which you LOVE!

 In other news, you are all trouble!  You are finally MOVING!  Which means...you have pulled down multiple blinds, love to terrorize the dogs, and are, seriously, making Mommy and Daddy a nervous wreck....

 now, so I count my blessings for a few good ones, a few
silly ones, and a ton where you are escaping!

This month, you LOVE...

1.  all the new snacks you are getting this month...cookies and crackers...YUMMY!

2.  moving around all day and getting in to everything...the blinds, the pots and pans, EVERYTHING!

3.  playing ET with anyone...you point to everyone and love when people touch their finger to your finger!

This month, you DO NOT like...

1.  getting new teethers....and, you make this very clear when you keep Mommy up all night....no amount of teething tablets, Oragel or an amber necklace have cured you...and, Daddy thinks I am a hippie for trying the amber necklace...I was so desperate!

2.  getting in your carseat...you are starting to throw the biggest fits when Mommy and Daddy put you in the carseat...but, the perks for us, you generally fall asleep in a matter of minutes!  So, for the parent of a "no nap ninja", this is great news!

Mason Lee is 9 months

Oh, my little Mason Lee!  This has been one of those months that I just sit back and realize how big you are getting.  You are starting to scoot all over the place...which means, anything you can get your little hands in to, you do!  You are the best army crawler there is!  Everyone jokes that you must have learned that from Daddy.

You are also getting a second tooth this month!  Thus, everything goes in our little mouth.  So, Daddy and I are starting to have to pay really close attention to anything we leave sitting around or happens to fall on the ground!  You officially think anything is fair game to go in your little mouth!

This month, Mommy also let you be in the bathtub like a BIG boy!  You love tubby time...the toys, the bubbles, the songs...bath time is part of the day that I look forward to the most!  It a few minutes when nothing else matters but playing, laughing and singing with the Little Bug that I love the most!

Things you LOVE this month:

1.  You love to move move move!  You just wiggle everywhere these days!

2.  FaceTime!  You love to FaceTime anyone who will look at your cute face!

3.  Bath tubs!  You love some tubby time!

4.  Anything that can go in your mouth...those teethers must really be bothering you!

Things you DON'T LIKE this month:

1.  When Mommy and Daddy try to feed you...you are way too independent for that.

Mason Lee is 8 months

This is pretty much how you felt
about me taking your picture today!

Now that the holidays are over and we have finally gotten to slow down a little...you are actually sleeping a little.  Not anything crazy, but yes, you do sleep in your crib at night.  Not all night and not every night, but just enough that I see the light at the end of the tunnel!  Thank you, little guy...I'm beginning to feel like a whole new person!

You have such a fun, silly personality!  Everyone says you
make the funniest expressions...and, that
you must get those from Mommy!

This month has been crazy!  Christmas with Granddad and T-Ma, traveling to Indiana, and most importantly...you, sir, have a tooth!  It's the cutest little tooth and, more importantly, it is my first sign that you are not going to be little forever.

Things you LOVE this month:

1.  Early mornings...yes, you are sleeping better, but apparently, someone told you there are supposed to be parties at 5 am!

2.  Finger food...Aunt Dawn made me introduce "puffs", "yogurt melts", and Cheerios...you love them!  According to her, you were being deprived!

3.  IPhones, IPads, or any other form of technology that you can get your little paws on these days!

4.  Chewing on everything...apparently, that little tooth coming in

Things you DON'T LIKE this month:

1.   Saying good-bye to family and friends...we did a whole bunch of it this month!

2.  When Mommy leaves your sight...for even a second!

3.  Sitting still...you are on the move and like it that way best!
