So, I had to boast a little today because I, with the help of Mrs. Kate Nierengarten, managed to figure out how to add a spectacular header and background. It took some exploring, and quite a bit of playing, to find a design that I loved, but I found it! I don't know that I love the font selection for the header, but I will keep playing with it...is it too hard to read???
I figured this was a good place to start as I learn to have a fabulous blog. But, it doesn't hold a candle to Kate's blog...so, if you are bored...check out her's, plus she has this "to die for adorable" little girl, Grace!
http://babynierengartendiaries.blogspot.com/ One day, I hope mine it as spectacular as her's! Love you Momma Katie!
Don't be so hard on yourself... it looks GREAT!
ReplyDeleteWahoo...welcome to the world of blogging! Thanks for the shout out! Trust me...I'm still learning myself. You made me feel so much better bc I am nowhere near the level of other blogs.
ReplyDelete2 blogs for you to check out when you get the chance:I think they're worth it...
1.) This blog has more tutorials and articles about blogging including blogging and twitter
etiquette.http://playgroupsarenoplaceforchildren.com/2008/08/23/blog-tip-sharing-project-12-etiquette/
2.) This is a newer blogger who is an Alpha Phi in my sister's pledge class. She just moved from IN to Cali and is mostly blogging about what she's up to and fashion. She is absolutely hilarious and an excellent writer who knows a thing or two about blogging.

Again, thanks Ms. Kate...I learned after reading a little something about comment etiquette at http://playgroupsarenoplaceforchildren.com/2008/08/23/blog-tip-sharing-project-12-etiquette/ that I need to respond to comments...
ReplyDeleteSo, Ms. Kate, your blog is amazing and I love being able to catch up with you via your blog so frequently...
